Church data security. Your member data stays yours.
Church data security with ChurchAI starts with one rule: your member data belongs to your church. ChurchAI works from a copy of your records and leaves your system intact. It doesn't sell or rent personal information, and it protects that information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures. Your team decides who on staff sees what.
What will ChurchAI see in our records?
What your church already records. ChurchAI imports a copy of your attendance, giving, groups and serving and leaves your system intact, so nothing in it is deleted or moved on your behalf.
- Planning Center
- The Planning Center integration works from People and Households, Check-Ins, Giving, Groups and Services. Card and bank details never leave Planning Center.
- Breeze, CCB/Pushpay, Subsplash
- The attendance, giving, groups and serving your church already keeps in Breeze, Church Community Builder or Subsplash.
- Your system
- Attendance, giving and statuses stay as entered, and your team keeps working there. Your administrator connects ChurchAI from your own account, and you're live in 2 to 4 weeks.
Who on our staff gets to see it?
The people you choose. You decide who on your team has access to what. Nobody is labeled anywhere the congregation can see, and a member's check-in never mentions an attendance count or a giving figure.
Running more than one campus? A campus pastor signs in to their own people, and giving detail is a separate permission you grant.
Who decides what our members hear?
Your team does. ChurchAI notices who needs you and drafts the follow-up check-in. Someone on your staff reads it and changes what they want. Your team approves every drafted check-in.
Grief, crisis, conflict and counseling reach you as someone to visit, never as a draft. That's built in, not a setting.
Questions church boards ask before signing.
Is our church member data safe with AI?
With ChurchAI, your member data stays your church's. ChurchAI works from a copy of your records, doesn't sell or rent personal information, and protects it as our Privacy Policy sets out. The engagement score and the reason behind it stay with your staff, and nobody is labeled anywhere the congregation can see. We walk through our specific security controls and data handling with you during the demo.
Does ChurchAI sell our church's member data?
No. ChurchAI doesn't sell or rent personal information. It shares information only with the providers who help run the platform, such as payment processing, communications and hosting, and with authorities when the law requires it.
Can people ask ChurchAI to correct or delete their personal information?
Yes. Our Privacy Policy lets anyone request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal information. Write to support@churchai.com. ChurchAI keeps personal information only as long as it's needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations.
Who processes gifts made through ChurchAI?
Finix, the third-party payment processor named in our Terms of Service. Your church completes Finix's merchant onboarding and approval before it accepts online gifts. Donor information is covered by our Privacy Policy, like the rest of your church's data.
What does our church stay responsible for?
Your church makes sure it has the rights and consent to share member and donor information with ChurchAI, as our Terms of Service set out. Your team reviews what ChurchAI drafts before acting on it, because AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. The church systems ChurchAI connects to keep their own terms, which ChurchAI doesn't set.
Show your board who'd come up first.
Your member data belongs to your church, and ChurchAI doesn't sell it or share it between churches. Show your board the churches using ChurchAI, then bring them to one call and see who'd be on your team's list, from your own records. You'll leave with a quote for your church.
