Text In Church is known for sending the sequence well. ChurchAI starts a step earlier: it finds the people no sequence was written for. You see who they are, why they came up, and the text ready to send.
A sequence only starts when someone trips a rule you wrote. ChurchAI tracks attendance, giving and serving for every person, every week, so your team sees the people who never trip a rule.
| Dimension | ChurchAI | Text In Church |
|---|---|---|
| Who picks the person | ChurchAI does, every week, weighing each person against their own history. | You do, in advance, by writing the rule that starts a sequence. |
| What brings someone up | A break in one person's own rhythm of attending, giving or serving. You see it when it breaks, not when a cutoff says so. | Something you chose: a guest card, a form, a tag. |
| What you set up | You decide who can be reached, who sends, and what needs your approval. | The sequence: the steps, the wording, the wait between them. |
| When nothing happens | You still see who it is, and why. Going quiet is exactly what ChurchAI catches. | No trigger, no message. Whoever just stopped coming isn't on a list until a cutoff says so. |
The family who quietly stopped coming is on your list this week. Nobody filled in a form. ChurchAI noticed the absence itself.
Came most Sundays for two years. Missed the last four. That's what your team sees, with the check-in already written underneath. Every one is yours to approve. Edit it, send it, or leave it because you already know about the new baby.

Automation decides when a message goes out. Prediction tells your team who should get one. ChurchAI weighs attendance, giving, serving and groups for every person, and your team gets a short list of people, each with the reason they're on it and the message ready to send.
You can, and it'll catch some people. The trouble is the cutoff. Any number you pick is wrong for somebody, and the member who came twice a month and now comes once never trips it. ChurchAI measures each person against their own pattern, so you catch them too.
Keep the wording your church already trusts. You get each check-in drafted from the reason the person came up, so a note to someone who left a serving team doesn't read like a note to a guest. Your team edits and sends instead of starting from blank.
Yes. Your guest sequence keeps doing the job it does well. ChurchAI covers the part nobody writes a sequence for, which is members quietly drifting. You keep everything you run today.
If messages aren't going out at all, buy the tool that sends them. For a guest who filled in a card, a written welcome sequence is the right tool. Prediction doesn't improve on it. And if your church is under two hundred people and your staff already know who's gone quiet, we'll tell you so on the call.

Yes, and most churches can be compliant in an afternoon. Three things have to be true: you hold documented opt-in consent for every phone number on the list, you honor opt-outs immediately, and the number you send from is registered with the mobile carriers under 10DLC.

Most first-time visitors don't return because no one specific was responsible for them by Monday morning. Here are seven operational follow-up mistakes that quietly cost churches new members—and how to fix them.
Bring the rules your follow-up runs on today and the records behind them. On one call we'll show you who falls through those rules, and the text your team would send them. If a sending tool is the better buy this year, we'll say so. Comparing Gloo too? Gloo vs ChurchAI shows how ChurchAI finds who needs you this week.
